The Responsive Chord
We are surviving an unstable historical moment. Every week, after reading the Sunday paper, I've entered a strange habit of tearing it into pieces. This is, perhaps, cathartic release. But I notice a counterhabit of bringing torn pieces back together, in what might be a kind of homage to the zeitgeist of solidarity. This is, then, compassionate repair. These "habits" is what I call The Responsive Chord.
